Why doesn’t knee osteoarthritis pain go away on its own?<\/h2>\n

Knee osteoarthritis causes chronic pain because an inflammatory cycle is maintained inside the joint that no conventional treatment has been able to interrupt in a lasting way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The synovial membrane becomes inflamed (synovitis). This inflammation releases enzymes that degrade the cartilage. The remains of the damaged cartilage fall into the synovial fluid and reactivate the inflammation. And the cycle starts all over again. <\/p>\n
